It is dating websites like Chemisty.com that give online dating a bad name. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing good about this website as far as we can tell. We have taken the trouble of checking it out for you and reviewing it so that you do not have to go through the same harrowing experience that we did on the website.

Chemistry reviews & scams

It is rare that you see so many things wrong with a single website. It makes you wonder who the designers were on this site. The user experience on the website is absolutely terrible, and there is no reason as to why anyone would want to sign up to Chemistry.com.

The worst part is that they have advertised themselves so well that it is only after you have signed up to the website and paid your subscription fee that it soon becomes clear that something is terribly long. Here is a full review of Chemistry.com with all the nasty details.

Chemistry.com – Why You Should Use it

As mentioned above there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for you to sign up for chemistry.com online dating services. It is the pure waste of your time and money, and you would be forgiven for thinking that this is exactly what they had in mind when creating the website. This is like any other scam dating website out there. It is simply there for the creators to make as much money off you as is possible.

This is definitely a money-making venture for them with no real purpose in dating. Some people have claimed to have found dates on the website, but this is an extreme long shot to say the least. There are so many things that are wrong with this website that it leaves one wondering how they are still up and running.

Chemistry.com Website Features: A Review

The features on this site are terrible. They are a waste of time, and you can tell that they did not really think about what they were doing when coming up with the features. Below are some of the highlights of the terrible so-called features on this website.

Search

The search feature on Chemistry.com makes absolutely no sense and is heavily flawed (unless they have changed it, which is highly unlikely). You can only search for a radius of 250 miles from your current location to find possible matches. It goes without saying that it is highly unlikely that you will find your soul mate within that radius. Something else is that if you were to search women that live 250 miles from your current location, only these results will come up. Results for 50 miles, 100 miles and so on will inexplicably not appear on your search list. This feature makes absolutely no sense and serves no purpose in helping you find a date.

Profiles on Chemistry.com

Chemistry.com users are not compelled to put up their profile picture, which is ok. The problem, however, is that you cannot adjust your settings to match up with people that have a profile picture as you get on most normal dating websites. This is extremely annoying especially because most of the matches you get to do not have a profile picture, so you have absolutely no idea what the person on the other end looks like.

Database

The user database for chemistry.com is also far too small to have any viable way of matching you up with your date. This means that the system will match your up with women that you share no interests with. Sometimes it even seems that the system makes random matches since you cannot see any reason why you were matched with a particular person. Most profiles as mentioned earlier do not include profile pictures. Most also seem computer generated just to look like there are a lot of people on the site.

Chemistry Members: What to Expect

From our experience and that of many others, there are a number of things that you can definitely expect from chemistry.com. The first is a poor-quality customer service. Most of your queries will be left unanswered. The support system here is a shame. They really do not care what complaints you have. As long as you have paid your subscription fee, the rest is up to you.

Another common occurrence is getting billed without prior notice. This is not something that you would expect from such a website. They will keep renewing your subscription off your credit card until you call them to tell them to stop. By the time you realize what is going on; they will have already made a couple of charges to your credit card. Do not even think about calling them for a refund. There is absolutely no way they will refund your money.

Something else to think about chemistry.com is that you will never find your perfect date, which is the reason why you signed up to the dating website in the first place. They do not care about you, and you will simply navigate one feature after another until you have had enough. They will have made their money by this time, and will not be sorry to see you leave.

The website design is also very low quality. Chemistry.com is just short of an eyesore, and this is not the kind of website that you will want to spend hours on. There are also too many unnecessary questionnaires that you have to fill in before you are able to communicate with a girl that you have spotted. By the time you are able to get through to her, she will have been long bored, and they will have made their money. It is lose-lose for you any way you look at it.

Chemistry.com – How much it Costs

Chemistry.com costs a lot more than most dating websites on the internet. Here is a look at their pricing.

  • 7-Day Trial – Free
  • 1 Month – $49.95
  • 3 Months: $99.95 ($33.32 per month)
  • 6 Months: $159.95 ($26.66 per month)

Considering all the grief you will go through on this website, the price is exorbitant to say the least. You had rather spent your money on something else to be honest.

Chemistry.com Review – Conclusion

As mentioned above, there is no ‘saving grace’ for this website. Everything is completely terrible on this site. Starting from the poor web design, to the tiresome and unnecessary questionnaire, the logic defying features; this site is just terrible. To be honest, you are better off spending your hard-earned cash somewhere else.

There are so many things wrong with this dating site that it is much easier to simply take it down, get some competent designers and create an entirely new website. The user experience is possibly the worst that you can get online. It might have been a little more bearable if you were guaranteed a date after all your troubles. Unfortunately this is not the case.

Chemistry.com is honestly a complete and total waste of your time and money. They have been able to make a tidy sum of money from unsuspecting users, and continue to do so. We have taken the trouble of enduring the site so that you don’t have to. I simply cannot stress this enough. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR YOU TO SIGN UP TO chemistry.com.
